SLITTING OPERATIONS 1

 

This state-of-the-art slitter also monitors and reports material gauges during the slitting process using an advanced Gamma Ray system. In order to add to our customer quality service, this equipment features a seven roll back up shape correction leveling system, with a gauge range of .012 to .079 thicknesses. Additionally we use a five roll back up core flex leveling system, with a gauge range of .079 to .250. In order to maximize production capacity, a 72" double turret recoiler system enables plant production efficiency of 75% greater than conventional slitting.
